Platinum Tooling, the exclusive North American importer of Heimatec live tools and angle heads, has expanded its line of tooling for the Haas BMT turret.

The product line includes a variety of driven tools (axial and radial drilling and milling heads) as well as static toolholders. Recently reengineered, these driven tools are said to be capable of running at a higher rpm for a longer period of time, contributing to shorter production time and longer tool life.

Heimatec also offers specialty tools for this turret, including multi-spindle, adjustable angle and speed multipliers. These BMT turret tools enable Heimatec to provide immediate support and innovative tooling technology. Heimatec is said to offer over 40,000 designs in its database.

Platinum Tooling Technologies Inc., based in Prospect Heights, Illinois, is the importer of Heimatec, Tecnicrafts, Henninger, AMF and quick tooling for North America.
